One of the last looks through this window for me.
Day 26/365
Tuesday, April 23, 2013
April 23, 2013 - I will be moving to a new house in a couple days and wanted to show what has been my workspace for the last 18 months.
Day 25/365
Monday, April 22, 2013
April 22, 2013 - My cat, Angel, is sure not feeling the love having her commune with the sunbeam interrupted.
Day 23/365
April 20, 2013 - Wandering around Commanche Lookout Park in San Antonio, Tx. I saw this green butterfly flying around. After following the butterfly for a minute, it finally landed to feed on this Prickly Pear cactus flower.

Day 15/365
Thursday, April 11, 2013
April 11, 2013 - I am not terribly fond of Yellow Jackets based upon childhood experiences but luckily I do not have a phobia. Though I do get out of the way when one is flying around.
What is interesting about this photo is the white eggs and one larva next to middle leg that you can distinctly see in the cells of the nest.

Crossing At Onion Creeek, Austin
Day 11/365
April 7, 2013 - Another multiphoto post. The dead looking photo was actually taken last month. On March 11th. Then the same location, a month later in the other two photos. That vine grows like crazy.
Day 10/365
Sunday, April 7, 2013
April 6, 2013 - Had a busy day with the camera. Over 150+ on the memory card. Most of these were from a XFL football game between the Vipers and the Lonestars. So the photos from the game will be culled down mercilessly to find some keepers. Liked this helmet shot.
To make this a twofer to celebrate 10 days strong, I am going to include a candid photo I took at the Texas Vegfest of this guy's bike.

Published Soccer Photos
Saturday, April 6, 2013
Had two girls high school soccer photos in the April 4th edition of the The Hill Country News. One for the Rouse vs. Hays game and the other for the Cedar Park vs. Lehman game.
Day 7/365
April 3, 2013 - Trying to figure out some of the colors that I will need to start painting my house.
Day 6/365
April 2, 2013 - Late, last minute photo of my cat using my phone. Tried with flash and got the usual demon eyes.
Day 5/365
Thursday, April 4, 2013
April 1, 2013 - These vines grow in my backyard. The late afternoon sun provides a nice light.
Day 4/365
March 31, 2013 - Happy Easter Everyone! I was visiting with family and someone placed this plastic egg in the hands of the "Face" as part of the Egg Hunt.
Day 3/365
March 30, 2013 - The lines of the newly growing fields made an interesting contrast to the massive wind turbines south of Sinton, Tx on Highway 188.
Day 2/365
Wednesday, April 3, 2013
Mar 29, 2013 - This was taken using my Nexus 4 phone and Instagram. These Pink Evening Primroses were in the grass near my car at work.
Day 1/365
March 28, 2013 - I was talking photographs at two girls playoff soccer games for The Hill Country News so it was easy to pick this as my first day.
This photo was taken of a Rouse player during a game between Rouse HS and Jack C. Hays HS. Rouse would go on to win the game and advance further into the playoffs.

Projects Update
There are a couple projects that I am going to be working on.
One is expanding my Roadside Memorial blog to include Historical Markers and other similar locations. This will include a side effort as well. I will be submitting some of my work to The Historical Marker Database. They are missing a large number of Texas historical markers.
The other is a photo a day for one year. That is 365 consecutive days taking photographs, no matter how awful or mundane. I have to take a photo somehow with either my phone or with my DSLR. I will post the days entries here to keep myself honest. I actually started this last Thursday so will need to catch up.
